How Do I Load My Press Release?

Loading your press release is a relatively easy process. Please follow these guidelines to submit your press releases.

  1. Go to the Member Press Release page.
  1. Click “Create a New Forum,” a text box will pop-up.
  1. Enter your headline. Start by entering your company name followed by a dash and then the press release headline. This format will make it easier for the press to search the press releases. (i.e. CHA – National Craft Month Celebration)
  1. Next cut and paste the text of your press release into the main text box.
  1. Adjust the alignment and preferences as needed.
  1. Scroll down the page and click on "File Attachment." This feature lets you load your press release in a Word or PDF format. Please note that there is a 2 MB limit on attachments.
  1. "Browse" your system until you find the appropriate press release file and hit "Attach."
  1. Hit “Preview” to review your press release to make sure the copy, alignment and spacing are correct and that the file is attached prior to posting.
  1. Hit “Submit” and your press release will be posted to the site and viewable.
  1. The press will ONLY be able to view the press releases and the content on the Member Press Release page. They will not be able to comment, read the other CHA forums, or view other pages on the CHA Member Networking Site.
